May 8, 2020 Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent shelter-in-place orders, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie has been open for families of essential workers. Each day, members receive a hot breakfast, a hot lunch, and assistance with their at-home school work and e-learning activities. Shielded behind a fabric face mask, the big smile of a little helper shines through the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nine-year-old Chloe, who finds respite at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie, is doing her part to support her community in central Indiana by sewing face coverings to reduce spread of the coronavirus. Southside, Southview and Grissom are closed for the day due to a power outage. We are happy to provide all day care for our CURRENT CLUB MEMBERS who attend those schools at our Madison Street Club.

Happy Holidays. As I write this, we are just coming off a day where we had 262 members in our buildings. That is a testament to you, our partners, families, and champions in the community.  With your help, our average daily attendance for this week was 230 members per day.
