Mentorship

Connecting at-risk and high-risk youth with caring mentors, skill-building prevention programs, and positive youth development opportunities. BGCM is committed to providing youth with quality mentoring opportunities for healthy development, while also responding to emerging needs that increase youth risk.

For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs have consistently provided children and teens with the most critical protective factor there is – supportive relationships with caring adults and peers. The wide variety of opportunities for relationship building at Clubs gives young people a broad network of
care, and the integration of formal mentoring practices over the last decade has further increased the impact of mentoring relationships.
