We are now looking for the following Internships to being in the fall semester:

  • Public Relations/Social Media (Filled)
  • Human Resources

To qualify for an Internship at the Club, you must:

  • Qualify and apply for Internship through Internship coordinator in department of studies at your college
  • Willing to work in a high-energy environment
  • Willing to work with children and youth
  • Willing to strive for personal development, advancement, and improvement

Communication

  • Meet regularly with Executive Director (ED) to plan and evaluate learning and practical application assignments
  • Assist ED in facilitating communication between ED’s office, staff, and board of directors, volunteers, the community, funders and others
  • Assist ED and program staff in event planning, program planning, and grant writing and other
  • Actively participate in all programs at the Club
  • Work with other Club staff and volunteers to create and maintain an environment of support, development, learning and care for all participants, visitors, families and community members
  • Proactively assist in maintaining the Club’s upkeep and cleanliness, which includes all properties, inside, outside and vehicles
  • Report all repairs and maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Public Relations/Social Media (Filled)

  • Meet regularly with Executive Director (ED) to plan and evaluate learning and practical application assignments
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate an effective social media plan in partnership with the ED
  • Implement and manage the use of various social media platforms to increase the awareness of and participation in Club programs to members, donors, volunteers and the general community
  • Plan, coordinate and evaluate public relations techniques such as events, flyers, and traditional media in partnership with the ED
  • Actively participate in all programs at the Club
  • Work with other Club staff and volunteers to create and maintain an environment of support, development, learning and care for all participants, visitors, families and community members
  • Proactively assist in maintaining the Club’s upkeep and cleanliness, which includes all properties, inside, outside and vehicles
  • Report all repairs and maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Human Resources

  • Meet regularly with Executive Director (ED) and Unit Director (UD) to plan and evaluate learning and practical application assignments
  • Actively manage a portfolio of projects to gain experiential learning including: membership recruitment and management; program planning and evaluation; public and community relations; event and outreach management; volunteer and staff management; facilities and technology management
  • Assist leadership team in event planning, program planning, evaluation, and public relations
  • Actively participate in all programs at the Club
  • Work with other Club staff and volunteers to create and maintain an environment of support, development, learning and care for all participants, visitors, families and community members
  • Proactively assist in maintaining the Club’s upkeep and cleanliness, which includes all properties, inside, outside and vehicles and report all repairs and maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
