Family Dollar Raises Money for Clubs

During the month of November, Family Dollar Stores will help raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie through its “Open the Door for America’s Kids” initiative. Beginning Nov. 1, Family Dollar customers in Muncie can make a monetary contribution at checkout to be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie this holiday season.

Trunk or Treat Scheduled

To provide a fun and safe alternative to knocking on doors, the Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with Buley Center, Ross Center, and Motivate Our Minds, is hosting Trunk or Treat. Families, businesses, groups and student organizations are invited to distribute candy and goodies during the event. Creativity is encouraged as there will be contests for “Best Trunk” and other awards.
