Dear Muncie, Indiana,
I am excited to introduce myself to everybody as the new CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie, IN. I am looking forward to the opportunity to meet all of the communities here, especially the young people in our area. While I have lived in large cities (New York, and Philadelphia) all of my life, my time working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia gave me a large, loving community that I was privileged to join.
I have worked with children, from the ages of 6 weeks up to 19 years old, since 1995, as an Early Childhood Educator, Summer Camp Director, and Early Childhood Director. In 2006 I moved to Philadelphia and joined the Boys & Girls Club Movement. Since then I’ve worked as an Early Childhood Center Director and Program Director. Those experiences helped to teach me about how much I missed out on, not having a Boys & Girls Club, growing up. It is my goal to expand the reach of our Clubs so that every child in the area has the opportunity for a great Club experience on which I missed out.
