Julie Hale to serve as Community Relations Coordinator

Julie Hale has joined the Boys & Girls Club of Muncie’s team as the Community Relations Coordinator. In this position Julie will lead the organization’s outreach and public relations efforts. This will include coordinating projects, media relations, resource development and events.

“Our relationships with donors, media, foundations, businesses and partner agencies are critical,” said Micah Maxwell, Executive Director. “Julie has an impressive resume and her experience will certainly add a new depth to our organization as we strive to develop great futures for Muncie’s youth.”

Julie has Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in Exercise Science and a minor in Educational Psychology. Most recently she has worked with Toyota of Muncie and also with the Delaware County Prosecutors Office with Jeff Arnold. She has previously worked with St. Vincent Hospital, the Muncie YMCA, Ball State University and the Lilly Endowment.

Julie and her husband Mark have two children, Emily and Ryan. Julie grew up in Muncie and has completed 19 marathons and is preparing for her 20^th!
