The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is honored, and saddened to announce that Director of Resource Development, Amy Gibson, will be leaving the Organization on Friday, February 16, 2024, to take a new position at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington.
Ms. Gibson started working at the Clubs in July of 2016, as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. In that role Ms. Gibson brought a passion for the mission, with an eye for detail. In 2018, Ms. Gibson was promoted to the position of Director of Grant Based Initiatives, and in 2021 to the position of Director of Resource Development.
“As our Director of Resource Development,” explained Jason Newman, CEO, “Amy oversaw a quadrupling of our income from her first days with the Clubs, thanks, in large part, to her ability to explain the story of our kids, the mission of our organization, and she understood the need to report out metrics to show how effective the Clubs are in working with our kids.”
One of the first changes Ms. Gibson made to the resource development department at the Clubs was to engage with the board on stewarding their most important resource, the Club staff, and kids.
“Amy will be missed by everyone in our Organization, she has been a big part of our growth. Her dedication to the Clubs and our kids will be difficult to replace.”
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is to inspire and enable, all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
