The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is excited to host its annual Great Futures Dinner on March 30, 2023 from 5:30-7:00 at the Horizon Convention Center.
This year’s Great Futures Dinner themed “A Night at the Circus,” will be full of circus games, thrilling performers, delicious circus fare, and a showcase of club programming. A highlight of the night will be announcing the Pat C. Botts Youth of the Year where one Club member will be recognized for their work, commitment, and support of the Muncie Community through their membership in the Boys & Girls Club.
One goal is top of mind for the evening: To raise funds needed to support the Clubs’ life-changing initiatives and programming.
Amy Gibson, Director of Resource Development at the Club, shares that funds raised at the event will be used to support programming at three Club locations: Madison Street, the Buley Center, and a new location at The Gathering Church. As for that programming, the Club provides K-12 programs in literacy, math, STEM, fine arts, physical wellness, computer-coding and even e-Sports.
“Our mission has always been to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.”
