Money Matter$

Last Saturday we hosted the Money Matter$ event at the Innovation Connector. This program promotes financial responsibility and independence among Club teens. Participants learn how to manage a checking account, create a budget, save and invest, start small businesses and pay for college.

We enjoyed getting to know our peers and interacting with the speakers. Speakers included Sari Harris, Lisa Letsinger, James Mitchell, Jeremy Allison and Melanie Howe. Along with the presentations, there were several activities such as name games, icebreakers, and guessing games during the presentations to reinforce the materials covered and make it a fun, engaging experience.

We would like to thank the Executive Director of Innovation Connector, Ted Baker, for allowing us to use the space, and all those who attended and presented in our Money Matter$ program. We hope that everyone had a great time and came away enriched and ready to pursue financial independence.
