The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie’s summer camp program will take place beginning June 14 and run through July 30, Monday through Friday from 7:45 am – 5:15 pm. The camp will provide a safe space for our community’s kids and teens to experience field trips, outdoor and indoor activities, art projects, STEM projects, video games, college trips, educational enrichment, and so much more. Kids and teens will also receive breakfast, lunch, and a snack every day.
The summer camp program will have three locations this year. Grades K-5 will be located at Southside Middle School, grades 6-8 at Roy C. Buley Center, and grades 9-12 at the Madison Street Unit.
The community has been through a lot over the past year. Children have missed out on school time, celebrations, and fun with their friends. This summer, kids and teens can get re-connected in safe, enriching programs run by caring staff who are trained to help youth build confidence, gain social skills, and try new things.
“As restrictions are slowly but surely lifting, we here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie are preparing every day to start our Summer Camp ’21,” said Destinee Lewis, Programs Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. “We are offering so much more than just fun and good times for our members by decreasing the learning gap for our kids in the community. Join our summer family now as registrations end June 18.”
If your child is already a member of the Clubs, you can simply visit bgcmuncie.com/join to register.
For those who are not members, please contact Ms. Alycia by calling 765-282-4461 opt. 5 or emailing ahacker@bgcmuncie.org
