MUNCIE, IN [08/27/26]: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie will host its annual Great
Futures Showcase on Thursday, November 5, 2026, bringing community members
together to experience firsthand how local youth are being prepared to become the
future leaders, entrepreneurs, employees, and community members of Muncie.
The Great Futures Showcase will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boys &
Girls Clubs of Muncie, 1710 S. Madison St., Muncie, IN 47302.
This year’s Showcase is centered around a simple message: Muncie Needs Club
Kids. Club Kids Need You.
Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to see Boys & Girls Clubs of
Muncie programs in action and learn how the Club is helping young people develop the
skills, confidence, relationships, and experiences they need to build great futures.
Rather than simply talking about the impact of Boys & Girls Clubs, the Great Futures
Showcase will allow guests to experience it.
Youth will showcase programs and activities focused on areas including
entrepreneurship, cooking, gardening, mentorship, workforce readiness,
academic success, leadership, and more. Guests will have the opportunity to interact
with Club members, see their work, and hear directly about the experiences that are
helping shape their futures.
“Every day, we have the opportunity to see what happens when young people are given
the right support, the right opportunities, and adults who believe in them,” said Dominic
Bordenaro, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. “The
young people we serve today are the future leaders of Muncie. They will become our
business owners, educators, healthcare workers, entrepreneurs, community leaders,
and neighbors. Our job is to help prepare them for that future, and our community has
an important role to play in making sure they have every opportunity to succeed.”
The Showcase also highlights the critical role community members play in the mission
of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. Through financial support, mentorship,
volunteerism, partnerships, and advocacy, local businesses and individuals help provide
young people with opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.
Muncie needs Club Kids because young people bring creativity, energy, ideas, and
potential to the community. And Club Kids need Muncie, a community willing to invest
in them, believe in them, and help them discover what is possible.
The Great Futures Showcase is an opportunity to see that investment in action.

Proceeds from the event will support the programs and opportunities provided by the
Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie.
Guests will leave with a greater understanding of the programs and opportunities
available to local youth and the important role the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie plays in
preparing young people not just for their next year, but for their future.
