MUNCIE, IN – Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie is excited to announce two significant changes designed to better serve local youth beginning in August 2026.
The Club’s elementary afterschool program will relocate to a dedicated wing within Inspire Academy, providing an enhanced environment for younger members and allowing the organization to continue growing its impact throughout the community. The new space will support the Club’s mission of helping young people succeed academically, develop healthy lifestyles, and build strong character and leadership skills.
At the same time, the Club’s Madison Street location will transition into a dedicated Teen Center serving middle and high school students. By creating a space exclusively for teens, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie will be able to expand age-appropriate programs focused on academic achievement, workforce readiness, leadership development, college and career exploration, and social-emotional growth.
“This transition allows us to better meet the unique needs of both our younger members and our teens,” said Dominic Bordenaro, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie. “Our elementary members will benefit from a space designed specifically for their age group, while teens will gain a dedicated center where they can build relationships, develop leadership skills, and prepare for successful futures.”

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie will continue to welcome youth from throughout the community, including students from Inspire Academy, Muncie Community Schools, and other local schools. The changes are designed to strengthen programming opportunities and ensure that every young person has access to a safe, supportive place during out-of-school hours.
Additional information regarding enrollment, transportation, and program schedules will be shared with families throughout the summer.
