Muncie, IN — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie (BGCM) today announced the appointment of Dominic Bordenaro as Chief
Executive Officer, effective immediately. Bordenaro has served the organization for the past five years and most recently held
the role of Interim CEO, where he demonstrated steady leadership, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to the children,
families, and partners of the Muncie community.
Bordenaro’s appointment follows a period of thoughtful evaluation by the Board of Directors, who cited his trusted leadership,
community-centered approach, and long-standing dedication to the Club’s mission as key factors in the decision. During his
tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening organizational stability, expanding partnerships, and positioning BGCM for
long-term impact.
“As a Board, we have been consistently impressed with Dominic’s thoughtful leadership, his genuine care for the families we
serve, and his deep-rooted passion for the Muncie community,” said representatives of the BGCM Board of Directors. “He is a
trusted partner across the city and continues to elevate the Club’s critical role in our collective future.”
Beyond his success in securing additional funding and strengthening leadership relationships, Bordenaro is widely recognized
for his hands-on leadership style. He maintains a visible presence throughout the organization, regularly engaging with staff,
building relationships with parents, and spending meaningful time with Club members.
“Dominic has cultivated deep, trusted relationships throughout the Muncie community,” the Board shared. “Community
partners consistently reach out to Dominic directly because they know he listens, collaborates, and works alongside them to
find solutions. His willingness to help—often beyond formal expectations—has strengthened trust across organizations and
positioned the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie as a reliable, mission-driven partner in serving families and youth.”
As Chief Executive Officer, Bordenaro will continue guiding BGCM with a focus on sustainability, program excellence, and
collaboration. His vision for the future of the Club emphasizes expanding access to high-quality youth development
opportunities, strengthening community partnerships, and ensuring the organization remains a cornerstone of support for
families across Delaware County.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie will continue to deliver comprehensive youth programming at its Club sites and community
