The Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie would like to announce the 2020 Great Futures Dinner. This event serves as a way to showcase the Club kids’ work, fundraise for future programming, and honor the members of the community who make a difference each and every day.
We will host the 2020 Great Futures Dinner on January 16, 2020 from 6:30 -8 p.m. at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie.
We will treat guests to the student’s favorite meal – breakfast for dinner. Our event sponsors and special guests will have the opportunity to mingle with our Youth of the Year candidates and other Club youth prior to the start of the event in a special VIP area. All guests will enjoy a showcase highlighting our talented Club youth and some of their favorite programs and activities.
The evening would not be complete without presenting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie’s Youth of the Year Award. This award is presented to a High School Club teen who demonstrates the desire to continue to uphold the Boys & Girls Clubs mission. The Roy C. Buley Heritage Award and The Boys & Girls Club Legacy Award will be presented at this event to community members who make a difference in the community through building up our youth.
This year the Clubs are working toward outdoing their donations from last year. At the inaugural Great Future’s Dinner in 2019, guests donated more than $56,000 to help fund programming and to cover the cost of memberships for kids. “Over the past 3 years, we have doubled the income from our Great Futures Dinner which goes to prove the generosity of our community. Here at the Boys & Girls Clubs, we are doing whatever it takes to provide our members a great future, and with your help, we can provide even more of our kids with great opportunities, programs, and mentors. Our kids deserve the very best we can give them,” comments Boys & Girls Club CEO Jason Newman.
Great Futures Dinner in 2019 raised $56K thanks to 287 guests and 25 corporate sponsors
In order to exceed last year’s contributions, the Clubs are looking for corporate and individual sponsorships. In exchange for financial support all sponsors will receive marketing in the evening’s program along with dinner for 8 guests. Advocate sponsors will receive VIP tickets to the Meet & Greet session prior to the main event in addition to the items listed above.
